Do You Lose or Have Trouble Identifying Gadget Leads?

Today, by way of a change, I thought I’d share my lead identifying tip with you. 🙂

If your household is anything like mine you’ll have leads for all sorts of things and some of them look almost identical.

There are only two of us so I can’t imagine what it’s like in households with teenagers who also have gadgets.

I’ve had a Brother Ptouch labelling machine for years that I use to label keys.

(You buy them on Amazon for around US$14) I’m a portfolio Landlord so I have lots of keys and one day I thought it would be a good idea to label leads in the same way.

Of course you can still lose them, we try and keep them all in one drawer so we don’t but at least when we do find one out of place, we know immediately what it’s for.

You could just as easily use sticky labels but the good thing about the laminated ones is they’re less fragile and stay put.

Cool Idea, I did it with my plugs – “Agnes Laptop” “Agnes Phone”, etc and if I need to unplug something I can make sure that it’s the right one. No need to chase the cables back etc 🙂
Thanks for sharing

Good point Agnes, must go and do it with all the cables behind my TV, Sky etc! 🙂
